Temporary Courthouse Operating Hours

Following orders and recommendations from Mike DeWine, Governor of the State of Ohio and Dr. Amy Acton, Ohio Department of Health Director the Board of Commissioners of Carroll County Ohio have resolved to limit public access to the Carroll County Courthouse effective Thursday, March 26, 2020. The order will be effective until the end of the COVID-19 pandemic or otherwise ordered by the Board of Commissioners. A copy of the resolution can be found here.

The Temporary Public Access Hours are as follows:

Tuesdays – closed to the public

Mondays and Fridays – 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Wednesdays and Thursdays – 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Only those who are over the age of 65 or have compromised immune systems may have access to the Courthouse from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

*Other elected officials and department leaders may follow these guidelines for outlining county buildings but are not required to. It would be best to call before visiting the particular office.
