Carroll County Sheriff – Drone Project
Sheriff Dale Williams is seeking donations towards the purchase of a drone. The drone would be utilized for all manner of emergency and law enforcement situations right here in Carroll County. Carroll Electric Cooperative, Inc. has graciously donated $5,000.00 through their People For People Fund; Encino Energy recently committed $15,000.00, contingent upon remaining funds being raised by the community, and the Carroll County Commissioners have committed $10,000.00 towards the $38,000.00 project. If you would like to be a part of this worthy cause, your donation made payable to the Carroll County Sheriff Special Operations can be dropped off at the Sheriff’s Office or mailed to 43 2nd St. SE, Carrollton, OH 44615. Donations will be accepted until October 1, 2019.
