State Funds for Employee Training Through the TechCred Program

Is your business waiting for the perfectly skilled job applicant to walk through your doors? The odds of this happening anywhere in America are on the decline. Why not train up some of your employees with the right attitudes and aptitudes? Through the TechCred program, the State of Ohio will provide reimbursements to companies that upskill existing employees with industry-recognized technology credentials. The State will provide up to $2,000 per credential. Many different industries have eligible technology related credentials – not just computer sciences. Engine repair, HVAC, and welding all have eligible credentials. Search a list of credentials here. Companies need to apply before January 29th to take advantage of this funding round.
