Ohio Launches “TechCred” to Give Businesses Access to Top Tech Talent

Lt. Governor Jon Husted announced the Launch of TechCred. TechCred allows businesses to identify the specific qualifications they need and employees they want to upskill toward a more advanced position. In partnership with a training provider. The state will reimburse training costs up to $2,000 for each employee upon completion of a credential.

The online application period opens October 1, 2019. TechCred is a competitive, merit-base program. The employer can apply at TechCred.Ohio.Gov
