Eagle Scout Project Earns Commissioners Proclamation
Residents of the Carroll Golden Age Retreat have spent many hours relaxing on the front porch of the Washington Township Complex. Troop 141 Scout member Clint Brackin recently completed a project towards earning his Eagle Scout that will insure the residents are able to take in the views of the county farm for many more years. Brackin built five benches that are designed to make it easier for a person to stand from a seated position. The benches have been strategically placed throughout the grounds to offer the residents great views of Carroll County.
The Carroll County Board of Commissioners recognized Brackin for his thoughtfulness with a proclamation.
