2020 Census Jobs Available in Carroll County — Apply Now

The United States Census Bureau recently sent a representative to the Commissioners regular meeting on Thursday, February 21, 2019. Mary Albaugh, Census Bureau Recruiting Assistant, informed the Board that Carroll County has jobs available that they haven’t been able to fill for the upcoming 2020 Census. The Census Bureau is looking to fill the following positions: Recruiting Managers, Recruiters, Assistant Recruiters, Address Canvassers and office workers. Mary made note that none of these positions require anyone to go door-to-door knocking. The pay range for the available jobs in Carroll County range from $14.00 to $27.00 per hour. Mileage expenses will be paid for field positions. Mary stated that this is a temporary position that is expected to last between 18 months and 2 years. Numerators (aka door knockers) will be hired after January, 2020.
