Public Road Petition

Ohio Revised Code §5553.04 · Carroll County Board of Commissioners

Before submitting, please note:

  • You are responsible for obtaining a survey and providing a complete legal description of the road (Township, County, Section #, Range #, Township #).
  • A map highlighting the road in question must be provided to the Commissioners' office.
  • A minimum of 12 signatures from property owners in the vicinity is required. Renters cannot sign.
  • A $350.00 deposit must be submitted to the Commissioners' Office along with this petition.
  • If any property may be landlocked as a result, the Commissioners will not approve the petition.

Set forth the general route and end of the road, or part thereof, to be located, established, vacated, or altered.
