Real Estate

How much does it cost to transfer a deed?
$4.00 per $1000 selling price, plus $.50 per tract of land.

Can you give out the market value of real estate?
Yes. We need the owners name (current) or the parcel number. Copies of the Auditors Appraisal Sheet are available in our office.

Can you look up a property owner by street address?
No, we do not have that info. You can find owner names and parcel numbers at the Map Office, located in the lower level of the court house.

No.

Who needs a Vendors License?
Anyone who is required by law to collect sales tax.

When are your office hours?
8 AM - 4 PM, Monday thru Friday.
